Hi Everyone.. Welcome to the completely unofficial Camp Meriwether webpage! You'll find lots of info for staff members, scoutmasters, good old Boy Scouts, and anyone else who has an interest in Meriwether! It's an ongoing project, and there's lots of stuff to cover, so if you have any info, feel free to let us know! Feel free to discuss anything in the Forum too!
We were out at Camp last weekend and I got to finally see what camp looks like with Snow. It was kind of cool. Also I got the hear the story about a recent Lightning Strike at camp. It did a good amount of damage but didn't hurt anyone.
If anyone still reads this I'm sure they've noticed that there isn't a lot of information here anymore, and it isn't kept up much. If you are looking for more up todate information about camp check out CampMeriwether.info Ben is doing some good work over there. This site isn't going anywhere, it will continute to be a place for past and current staff members to hang out and talk. I did just update the Patches section to prove that somethings are still getting done.
The Meriwether Alumni is continuing it's good work. The alumni site now has it's own url it's CampMeriwetherAlumni.com though Alumni.CampMeriwether.com still works.
Just wanted to point out that I've added the information about Interviews to the Events page. They are this weekend (3'rd and 4'th) so it's short notice but if you're interested you've likely known about them for a while.
In other Camp related news I believe that this weekend is also the date the old dining hall is getting destroyed. (If I'm wrong don't send a mob).
While there haven't been any site updates in a while I did create a new site, alumni.campmeriwether.com is now up and running. The alumni site is aimed at past staff members. There is currently a growing group who are working on projects at camp.
Camp is hours from over for the summer so I figure by tomorrow there will be many staff members missing it. If you are one of them this is the place to be. (Well really camp is the place to be this is just a poor cyber substitute).
If you haven't befor check out the Forum. It is how many of the past and present staff members stay in touch. We don't all live near each other and phone calls cost money. It is often the best place to learn about upcoming staff events like mini-reunions, eagle projects/courts and other exciting stuff.

Wow long time no update huh? Well life is like that. We were out at camp for opening weekend over the 4th. It was a lot of fun the staff seemed excited and ready to go. We got to play some vollyball, and porch.
Not a lot going on with the website, working on another website 8 hours a day tends to make the idea of hacking on this less exciting. Having an almost 4 month old who wants to play with me pushes this away completly.
But the site is still here, the forum is of course dead for the summer till camp ends (what 4 more weeks?).
Well we spent the weekend out at camp for my CampMaster weekend. Place is looking good, While were were there they bulldozed the old grassy nole in campcraft so that another shelter can be built there and there, and so there will be more area for projects etc.
Camp seems to be coming along there is most of a staff, I've added the upcoming dates to the right side of the pages so check those out. I'll be putting up more detailed info as I get around to it. I'm now working full time so site time has been reduced.
